The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, founded in April 1985 and with its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, is a non-profit NGO and one of the longest-standing bodies for the defense of human rights in Egypt. Foundation: April 1985; Area served: Egypt Founders: Saad Eddin Ibrahim, Hani Shukrallah; Type of business: Non-Profit Organization.

The Evangelical Church in Germany, abbreviated EKD is a federation of twenty Lutheran, Reformed calvinist and United Prussian Union Protestant regional and denominational churches in Germany, collectively encompassing the vast majority of Protestants in that country. The EKD is not a church in a theological understanding, because of its denominational differences. It constitutes one of the largest national Protestant bodies in the world, behind the Church of England and Church of Christ in Congo.

The Holy Land Institute for the Deaf is a part of the Arab Evangelical Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East. It has been founded in Salt, Jordan, in 1964. The organization focuses on helping and education deaf children as well as children with other disabilities. The organization is led by brother Andrew de Carpentier.
