Fātimah Nā'ūt wrote in her column this week:
After concluding the aired program, "al-Qāhira 360", presented by the media anchor Dīna 'Abd al-Karīm who has hosted me along with the Salafi Dā'iyah, Shaykh Mahmūd 'Āmir, and while we were on our way out of the studio, the Shaykh asked me, laughing: “You are a graduate of Christian schools, aren't you?”
He posed this question in a way as if he was about to reveal a threatening information. Before elaborating here my response to the Shaykh, I would like first to remind the reader of the reasons the Shaykh was ridiculing my education at Christian schools.
During the program, I had asked the Shaykh on the air a specific question: “Is the blood of all human equal, or is there blood that has more value? Is there a blood that has a price, and another blood shed which is worthless?” I was then more precise in my question, as he tried to evade the answer. I asked him: “Is Muslim blood equal to non-Muslim blood in your methodology?” “The blood of a Muslim is not equal to that of a non-Muslim,” was the Shaykh's catastrophic reply.
